A new summer tradition on Chicago's North Side is the Wrigley Field concert series -- while the Cubs are on the road, the Friendly Confines rocks as an ivy-covered music venue...and this year Clark & Addison will be rocking harder than ever when Pearl Jam takes the field!
Eddie Vedder took the Wrigley stage with Bruce Springsteen for a couple of tunes during the Boss' show last year, but the hometown boy (and huge Cubs fan) will be bringing his own band and classic Seattle sound to the hallowed outfield this July. It may be the only highlight of a long summer at this ballpark.
The show is already sold out, and even those lucky enough to have tickets will have to wait months to hear "Someday We'll Go All The Way" in the championship-starved stadium..but you can get the shirt and get ready for the party now. Inspired by a combination of Wrigley Field's
"Be Alert For Foul Balls" sign
and the fan favorite "Stickman"
character this original design captures the essence of the park and the band.
It's no official concert shirt (which are often twice the price, half the quality, with none of the creativity), it's not PJ merch (visit them for that), it's just an original design aimed at memorializing the event itself (the fans, the neighborhood and the hardball heritage). Whether you attend or not, you can celebrate the historic show by a great band in your favorite venue on this 100% heavyweight cotton shirt in several colors and sizes small through 5XL (alternate colors, sizes, styles available on request).
